CHRISTMAS WREATH

This years addition to the Christmas Roombox is a lycopodium wreath. This is my first try working with lycopodium. The wreath is a mini version of a life sized candy cane themed wreath.

Merry Christmas everyone.

STILL CAMPING

I made some more progress on the Camp Site.
This will go back to storage now until next year. It has been fun.

GOING CAMPING

Summer is quickly coming to an end. YAY! It has been a brutal one for me with EXTREME humidity. It meant almost 6 weeks in the chair, catching up on BAD TV and GOOD reading. Still a happy time, since I just celebrated one whole year of no hospital stays. I'm still very weak and tired, and get so frustrated, feeling as if I'll NEVER be better, but when I get off my pity pot, I can see that progress continues even if it is at a snail's pace.
I NEEDED to get away from curtains for a while, so I got all of my tents out of storage and found one that I was able to fit on a small display shelf that I have by my front door. The rest of the tents are too big, and will be "gifted" next year at our annual yard sale.
I've repaired my "petrified forest" tree and started the landscaping. I also started the skiff boat kit, but since I don't have an engineers degree, that kit will be MANY years in the making. My campers will have to "wade" for fish in the meantime.
Real/mini life progresses slowly too. I'm still sorting and weeding and trying to "fit" what I really want/need to keep. I'm pleased though. Going from 25 years of having unlimited space, to a tiny house has been challenging. But its working out surprisingly well.
